2. Quality and Nutritional Excellence

i) Novel methods for assessing food authenticity and adulteration: Nutritional profiling, bioavailability of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals in animal origin foods, fraud prevention, traceability, and supply chain transparency

ii) Nutritional enhancement of animal-derived foods (biofortification, functional foods)

iii) Shelf-life extension and preservation technologies, freshness indicators, spoilage kinetics, and quality retention during storage and distribution

iv) Effect of functional foods on human health

 3. Processing, Preservation, and Innovation

i) Smart farming and precision livestock technologies, sustainable and ethical animal production systems

ii) Alternative proteins (cultured meat, insect-based products)

iii) Advanced preservation technologies: high-pressure processing, pulsed light, cold plasma, nanotechnology-based coatings

iv) Value addition through traditional and modern processing techniques

4. Sustainability, Climate Action, and Circular Economy

i) Carbon footprint assessment, monitoring, and reduction strategies in livestock and fisheries, aquaculture and post-harvest operations

ii) Climate change impacts on food safety, supply, and species distribution

iii) Climate change resilience in food production systems and biodiversity-friendly management
